People in China’s RV industry have long been complaining about the infrastructure, lack of RV parks and campgrounds being one, and are pushing hard to get the government involved in developing more campsites which can accommodate RVs.

Lands are owned by the public in China. Local governments play a central role in deciding land use. Fortunately, the campground idea promoted by RV manufacturers and investors is met by the local governments’ enthusiasms to get more tourists. The 2nd camping forum schedule for the second week of December, one of a series of events sponsored by the industry, is to bring the government and industry together to spread the idea. The organizers chose Hainan, one of the top tourist destinations, to stage the forum. According to CRVC (not affiliated with this web site), a CenTech affiliated company and one of the organizers of the event, China Tourism Association, tourism administration offices from other provinces, and industry representatives will attend the event.
